  1. Do stretches and light exercise

You don’t need to work out in the mornings, but you should stretch. If you have the time, a morning yoga routine can be a great way to get the blood flowing and for you to meditate and take some time for yourself before you get ready for the day.

  1. Follow up with a cold shower

Cold showers, though uncomfortable, are actually very important for your health. They calm itchy skin, wake you up, increase circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and improve the health and appearance of your hair and skin. They can be very invigorating and can be just what you need after your morning yoga routine.

Not feeling hungry in the morning is often caused by stress and avoiding eating in the morning can reduce your energy, make you more irritable, and make the entire day that much more difficult. Though eating in general is a great idea in the morning, there are some foods that are better than others. Oats, for example, are an excellent breakfast choice to start your day. They are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. They work to reduce blood sugar, the risk of several cardiovascular diseases, and can even help with weight loss. Oats don’t have to be boring, either. There are so many delicious recipes using oats that will help you transform your mornings.

  1. Give yourself time to mindfully get ready

You don’t ever want to rush through your mornings. Try to plan your day so that you have enough time after all of that to get dressed and get ready for your workday. Being able to calmly get through these tasks can help you carry all the positive emotions and feelings you have cultivated so far throughout the day.
